Back in early January, a couple who happened to be friends of mine asked me if I can create a party favor for their housewarming party. Look what I came up with. I got my inspiration from <a href="http://creationsonpaper.blogspot.com/2009/12/gingerbread-house-milk-carton.html">here</a>. With the Mini Milk Carton die (another one of my favorites!), I used four different colors of SU cardstock and ran them through the Big Shot to create the "house". The "roof" is made up of two pieces of cardstock ran through the Big Shot (again!) and the Square Lattice embossing folder. I "trimmed" the roof edge with the Scallop Border Punch. The list of SU supplies I used are at the bottom.<br /><br />Does these not remind you of houses in the suburbs?<br /><p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5g9kYTLTfrQL6s7zbgPrPnFHM386smiIrua0Qk9-qmQhuDiM7KzMhXgkc5XpmQdKqDnZsUWi5mu6DFiKXrZ3OL_w5n03qzJuKkRJ6Lxldz8q0Mtl8bALx9ev0Ya_VtPyfE7iB_aeKcq9l/s1600/01152011-8.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5568212782085242386" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5g9kYTLTfrQL6s7zbgPrPnFHM386smiIrua0Qk9-qmQhuDiM7KzMhXgkc5XpmQdKqDnZsUWi5mu6DFiKXrZ3OL_w5n03qzJuKkRJ6Lxldz8q0Mtl8bALx9ev0Ya_VtPyfE7iB_aeKcq9l/s320/01152011-8.jpg" /></a><br /><br />Front door:</p><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLzzhxcAHwtWTcbZlN_q0eINdsd2AOapK5mriTFnmpEFtFlk6Xdwz5ow26LHgU2Q5Bd-lIBuYIKxYRKff7bTmXPmRHftuhny4F_J_pEi5kjsAHc_f1QnE9ItPgyF_Uzt8UHizLH6NlySnP/s1600/01152011-10.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5568212777012747858" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLzzhxcAHwtWTcbZlN_q0eINdsd2AOapK5mriTFnmpEFtFlk6Xdwz5ow26LHgU2Q5Bd-lIBuYIKxYRKff7bTmXPmRHftuhny4F_J_pEi5kjsAHc_f1QnE9ItPgyF_Uzt8UHizLH6NlySnP/s320/01152011-10.jpg" /></a><br />Side view:<br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhE0z4YjrmQF-BQ-9lyG4zT6-J1j696lXjeQiAzKaXYkwUvu6fUO-Eq79afBx4rw8aeywQDaXoSRZF3Gq5H_mZV8U_AjYbtfF07_MPaG7OBKakRegiU0O4GDQbX70VVe6KI3LzewpBd2V1Q/s1600/01152011-11.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5568212773040915154" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhE0z4YjrmQF-BQ-9lyG4zT6-J1j696lXjeQiAzKaXYkwUvu6fUO-Eq79afBx4rw8aeywQDaXoSRZF3Gq5H_mZV8U_AjYbtfF07_MPaG7OBKakRegiU0O4GDQbX70VVe6KI3LzewpBd2V1Q/s320/01152011-11.jpg" /></a><br />Four different cardstock colors for the houses and 2 different cardstock colors for the roofs.<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0pTm-NiQtNoNnpuHs3O99VGIQVjPVKRSuSUeOmLCcdpIka2GJrflVm2WFc1KgV7l7CfHm9sQGT_fPU0gF8FVdfgUA8UC7paekbJhRwNQTfuQCSsGf78vFGuhaOD77tWcdiMRowSFpY4cN/s1600/01152011-12.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5568212766848910962" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0pTm-NiQtNoNnpuHs3O99VGIQVjPVKRSuSUeOmLCcdpIka2GJrflVm2WFc1KgV7l7CfHm9sQGT_fPU0gF8FVdfgUA8UC7paekbJhRwNQTfuQCSsGf78vFGuhaOD77tWcdiMRowSFpY4cN/s320/01152011-12.jpg" /></a><br />Supplies Used:</div><div><span style="font-size:78%;">Stamps: Forest Friends</span></div><div><span style="font-size:78%;">Ink: Old Olive, Chocolate Chip marker</span></div><div><span style="font-size:78%;">Paper: SU cardstock in River Rock, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, Blush Blossom, Whisper White, Pink Pirouette, Bashful Blue, Sahara Sand</span></div><div><span style="font-size:78%;">Accessories: Big Shot, Mini Milk Carton Die, Square Lattice embossing folder, mini binder clips (Target), crystal effects used as adhesive.<br /><br /></span>Thanks for looking!<br /><br /><img src="http://shaintl.eaph3.com/share/Logo/SpringSignRaidis10.jpg" /></div></div></div>Hearts That Lovehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09811722348871261009noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2824246125953242500.post-9021722612235025582011-01-29T20:30:00.001-08:002011-01-29T21:32:21.873-08:00Sweet Valentine TreatsHi there! After a long pause from blogging, I am finally back... with different projects I have made. Just because I have not blogged does not mean I stopped creating beautiful handmade cards and fun stuff made with Stampin' Up products. Haha!<br /><br /><div><div>One of my new favorites from the Occasions Mini Catalog is the Petal Cone Die, and with it, I made different versions of sweet Valentines. You know the Petal Cone is not for cone-shaped projects alone. When you lay one die flat, it becomes the shape of a heart. How cool is that? Right in time for Valentine's Day! I found my inspiration from another Stampin' Up demonstrator within the online website for demos only. Here are my takes using different SU products:<br /></div><br /><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5567834451207982642" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbh64_Dwk_K92OuuwhiJ4adSBHk6w8pgBtrc03wRyMS1MH8S1YCagQzg5tMOvgUCNDIwqv_fMd2CUWkx2ngqwglyTOg3mmG7cfzEWePXSLnW6qFVIm16qs2Gc6xQTajniI-QgXYzl_k0tQ/s320/01292011-3.jpg" /></div><br /><div>Heart Project no. 1:</div><div><span style="font-size:78%;">Stamp: Elements of Style plus a retired SU set for the sentiment</span></div><div><span style="font-size:78%;">Ink: Real Red</span></div><div><span style="font-size:78%;">Paper: Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, Old Olive, Red Glimmer Paper</span></div><div><span style="font-size:78%;">Accessories: Big Shot, Petal Cone Die, Fancy Flower Punch, XL Bird Punch (for leaves), small heart punch, red button from SU Button Bouquet, red satin ribbon, crop-a-dile</span></div><br /><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5567834447910486434" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUIE-rpw-Z5Vs8mX2r_a5RZALSVV1BKQjXzDpUUtbvah0-Hz_PgybmaGarCjUK8YkJjc1Qnvf6Xh_ro_jsZZ2M222sfg3aO_vUZTSYvU4cafnKt0IOpG4oK4Sn8DrzjdAKUl4U_ZcjvLyC/s320/01292011-5.jpg" /></div><br /><div>Heart Project No. 2:</div><div><span style="font-size:78%;">Stamp: no stamp</span></div><div><span style="font-size:78%;">Ink: none</span></div><div><span style="font-size:78%;">Paper: cardstock in Pretty in Pink, Rose Red, So Saffron, Old Olive and Regal Rose; Love Patterns DSP; generic tissue paper </span></div><div><span style="font-size:78%;">Accessories: Big Shot, Bigz Island Floral Die, Finial Press embossing folder, mini gold brad, crop-a-dile</span><br /></div><div></div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5567834441473469426" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQnHG39R5jXu7Rde8KSsTBMyBrI00xsL3XMJMlxozdf0jx7pWg7EYecVP_6bHuiXkJoZLAca6bJ__1A2iei_qTK1Sbtg1vTSRH8Yw4bZ24ycQBoaOtE8MQ1R9V_OmpNhZqzNW_ntQwKUCy/s320/01292011-6.jpg" /> <div><br /></div><div>Heart Project No. 3: (as shown in the first picture above)</div><div><span style="font-size:78%;">Stamp: Elements of Style</span></div><div><span style="font-size:78%;">Ink: Real Red</span></div><div><span style="font-size:78%;">Paper: cardstock in Whisper White, Basic Black, Real Red; generic tissue paper (for flower); red glimmer paper</span></div><div><span style="font-size:78%;">Accessories: Big Shot, Petal Cone Die, Large Oval Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, small heart punch, XL Fancy Flower punch, Two Step Bird XL punch, star brad, red satin ribbon<br /></span></div><br /><div><br />Aren't these great for passing out Valentines? As promised, I am showing you my Frankenstein Mini Milk Carton. Here he is! The concept is pretty much the same, as in the cards I have created years back. (See cards <a href="http://seekandkeep.blogspot.com/2008/09/frankenstein-cards.html">here</a>.) The cards are a bit bigger than the milk carton so I scaled down the size of the eyes and used SU's 1/2" circle punch.<br /><br />You will need:<br />2 punched circles of Whisper White cardstock<br />1 punched circle of Basic Black, cut in half<br />2 punched circles of Old Olive, cut in half, you need only 3 half-circles.<br />Layer as shown on picture. I used dimensional tape for the eyelids and nose, to give them a 3-D effect.<br /><br />The mouth is punched out using the scallop circle punch. My ever-helfpul 9-year old daughter reminded me to put a scar above one eye, so I used my Basic Black marker for that. Meet Frankie....<br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGmc8RXMWMoZdmGzmS9WwM1wl0U0FN5ttGcxaM-k4VHldsUcH2CCGHo9n5K_LawTfjLtJ-i-n27Zm1t4CoTUkvGaLSKWRb2WOI_muMOB25FokGLFVZYOVSdn-VI4u01hBlvUcFX6kKNCmV/s1600/mom's+canon+005.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5517583383418808434" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGmc8RXMWMoZdmGzmS9WwM1wl0U0FN5ttGcxaM-k4VHldsUcH2CCGHo9n5K_LawTfjLtJ-i-n27Zm1t4CoTUkvGaLSKWRb2WOI_muMOB25FokGLFVZYOVSdn-VI4u01hBlvUcFX6kKNCmV/s320/mom's+canon+005.JPG" /></a><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><span style="font-size:78%;">Stamp: (none)</span><br /><span style="font-size:78%;">Ink: (none)</span><br /><span style="font-size:78%;">Paper: Cardstock in Old Olive, Basic Black, and Whisper White</span><br /><span style="font-size:78%;">Accessories: Big Shot, mini milk carton die, scallop circle punch, 1/2" circle punch, tape, basic black marker, ribbon and mini clip (nonSU).</span><br /><br />Thanks so much for looking!<br /><br /><br /><img src="http://shaintl.eaph3.com/share/Logo/SpringSignRaidis10.jpg" />Hearts That Lovehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09811722348871261009noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2824246125953242500.post-24517634801326957242010-09-15T13:20:00.001-07:002010-09-15T13:27:24.720-07:00Pumpkin Mini Milk CartonsHi there! Like everyone else, I have my own favorite die from Stampin' Up. It is the mini milk carton die. So using that particular die, I created a Halloween pumpkin! My 9-year old daughter thought the one on the left is Smiley Pumpkin and the one on the right is Grumpy Pumpkin... lol. <br /><br />The eyes were cut from a punched-out 5-petal flower in Basic Black. The mouth is from the scallop circle punch. Aren't they adorable? On my next post, I will show you my Frankenstein Mini Milk Carton. So stay tuned!<br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLSRuuiWFWbwYE1rccMm9jLL45i5LPdHpJdansH5PbcIByium8HyxGlhZOUZVBIi2laAtTI-4vMKdNwX1M_RnF2vDvW-aSBDq5gvhC8N-HSrO2wUwysqt2tRyR5STA7RPp1WLJTpQqF0zw/s1600/mom's+canon+013.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5517237974948077874" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLSRuuiWFWbwYE1rccMm9jLL45i5LPdHpJdansH5PbcIByium8HyxGlhZOUZVBIi2laAtTI-4vMKdNwX1M_RnF2vDvW-aSBDq5gvhC8N-HSrO2wUwysqt2tRyR5STA7RPp1WLJTpQqF0zw/s320/mom's+canon+013.JPG" /></a><br /><div></div><span style="font-size:78%;">Stamp: All Holidays</span><br /><span style="font-size:78%;">Ink: Chocolate Chip</span><br /><span style="font-size:78%;">Paper: Cardstock in Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, So Saffron, Old Olive</span><br /><span style="font-size:78%;">Accessories: Big Shot (I love mine!), mini milk carton die, scallop circle punch, 5-petal punch, white gel pen, ribbon, and mini clips (non SU).</span><br /><br />Thanks for dropping by!<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><img src="http://shaintl.eaph3.com/share/Logo/SpringSignRaidis10.jpg" />Hearts That Lovehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09811722348871261009noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2824246125953242500.post-25302429920501444322010-09-04T13:46:00.001-07:002010-09-04T14:00:19.583-07:00Spider Web BoxHi there! I went to a Bath and Body Works store yesterday and found these cute anti-bacterial hand gels in Spider Web. I thought, wow! they would look great in combo with SU's spider web embossing folder... I took out my Big Shot and Box #2 die and decorated the box a bit... The spider was created using the new Bat punch and I learned it from <a href="http://jackietopa.typepad.com/addicted_to_stamping/2010/09/punch-art-spider.html">here</a>. Is that the great or what!<br /><br />To create the "whitish" web, I swiped the embossed pieces of my box on SU's whisper white craft ink. My spider punch art also got a little bit of white craft ink around it. <br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieA__wypX1r-cOkoqzKqKuhqydHXi14F5aXptchYSIAAXASgL3OdZ0QAzq2EuK32nfW7rEDUdoFxWCnsPjhGSvGkJEXIiXvIn5wPBRrFZ3zl6JzGQleqsOiMxFuWRIWFeiO-pQR86Dr2OR/s1600/mom's+canon+003.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5513162875557441826" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieA__wypX1r-cOkoqzKqKuhqydHXi14F5aXptchYSIAAXASgL3OdZ0QAzq2EuK32nfW7rEDUdoFxWCnsPjhGSvGkJEXIiXvIn5wPBRrFZ3zl6JzGQleqsOiMxFuWRIWFeiO-pQR86Dr2OR/s320/mom's+canon+003.JPG" /></a><br />A close-up of the spider and its web:<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiVqcE-22idEhHGJyohiW-CsDQBrl5u-hY8RvHkghH5Uql-km3vr2lPrMxdZMeUq-j9UKYJfaBahhAnymtgIi9NPXDmY8vuFaqIp2KAquzkfsz4Q_cDHgiACj_HeBgz3NlN1WC4QduCCzj/s1600/mom's+canon+004.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5513162865333793602" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiVqcE-22idEhHGJyohiW-CsDQBrl5u-hY8RvHkghH5Uql-km3vr2lPrMxdZMeUq-j9UKYJfaBahhAnymtgIi9NPXDmY8vuFaqIp2KAquzkfsz4Q_cDHgiACj_HeBgz3NlN1WC4QduCCzj/s320/mom's+canon+004.JPG" /></a> </div><div>The finished box holds a bottle of 1 fl. oz. Back in July, I made this cute favor box after seeing the pretty flower on page 155 of the new Idea Book and Catalog. I ran cardstocks in Pretty in Pink, Very Vanilla, Summer Sun (retired) and Old Olive thru the Big Shot (you need this!) to come up with the flower. I was not happy with how it looked like so I ran the die cuts thru the Big Shot again, this time I used the Manhattan Floral embossing folder. And tada! my flower petals came out with more texture....I put a metallic rhinestone brad through to hold the petals together. The finished flower became the centerpiece of my favor box....<br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjf7OASfrTkBghCu9rNUIRHTDJnSSpNMkSjVTCkfwT02AX9aa57Vvp_loL3bN3W4wEqg2x4pLsr1FSn6YkvGKV51zAUewnpjv6VtOXPbA4HJo-w-5L6FmjVVidoN8oxQnXD9SyRhT0BXIm3/s1600/mom's+canon+003.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5509833241955479298" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjf7OASfrTkBghCu9rNUIRHTDJnSSpNMkSjVTCkfwT02AX9aa57Vvp_loL3bN3W4wEqg2x4pLsr1FSn6YkvGKV51zAUewnpjv6VtOXPbA4HJo-w-5L6FmjVVidoN8oxQnXD9SyRhT0BXIm3/s320/mom's+canon+003.JPG" /></a> Top view:<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8ByFhYWpMNj1HQSshZkc9Dkbkz8gqfGXmwUI4AXKQQUEziDrOjq-BwGfnnwzwBBUhFBOi2hvcd4ODjVEuNqWT3cqEJg2BV510opC3i8kTri-1njyRBGewycnrBIw26hF59W0h_ZsyZBs7/s1600/mom's+canon+002.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5509833239331926162" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8ByFhYWpMNj1HQSshZkc9Dkbkz8gqfGXmwUI4AXKQQUEziDrOjq-BwGfnnwzwBBUhFBOi2hvcd4ODjVEuNqWT3cqEJg2BV510opC3i8kTri-1njyRBGewycnrBIw26hF59W0h_ZsyZBs7/s320/mom's+canon+002.JPG" /></a> More closeup:<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3wxLQ_xQJrb7AVv6ySLy37lKxfFkFaJlKbTw2KQDzmKJMZcaS0HkVMNztBV-g_ScQjrs3WDaDHKIQL61LizYxmhLPyGrHbaEPnqHUEdA9n31m0tGaQjzbxoWboCatkMyKKB5FRoA09_b3/s1600/mom's+canon+001.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5509833231277538466" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3wxLQ_xQJrb7AVv6ySLy37lKxfFkFaJlKbTw2KQDzmKJMZcaS0HkVMNztBV-g_ScQjrs3WDaDHKIQL61LizYxmhLPyGrHbaEPnqHUEdA9n31m0tGaQjzbxoWboCatkMyKKB5FRoA09_b3/s320/mom's+canon+001.JPG" /></a><br />The Big Shot really came in handy for this project. I used the Square Scallop Die, the square lattice embossing folder, the Manhattan Flower embossing folder, and the Island Floral die. </div><div> </div><div>To make the box, I used another SU demo's pattern, I have to apologize because for the life of me, I can't remember who it was. So sorry! If I recall correctly, you cut a piece of cardstock measuring 10" x 5 1/2". Score at 1", 4 1/2", 5 1/2", and 9" on the long side of the cardstock. Fold at score lines. Then score at 1" and 4 1/2" on the short side. Fold at score lines and cut on the edges to make the box. Then make two of the square scallops that you attach on the top and bottom of the box. Decorate the top as you wish.</div><div> </div><div>If you change the colors of your cardstock, you can make this box fit any occasion. I used one like this for my son's 5th birthday (without the flowers of course) and everyone gushed over it... lol.</div><div> </div><div>I hope you like it! Have a great day!</div><div><br /> </div><div><img src="http://shaintl.eaph3.com/share/Logo/SpringSignRaidis10.jpg" /></div></div>Hearts That Lovehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09811722348871261009noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2824246125953242500.post-45118853691201397462010-08-24T22:55:00.000-07:002010-08-25T14:42:03.631-07:00Summer FlowersHi there! Now that summer's winding down, I want to show you some flowers I created. These flowers are bright and sunny, that while I made, I was smiling... Could have been the pretty SU colors or could have been that when I thought of summer, flowers in full bloom, in all shapes and sizes come to mind! How to make these gorgeous flowers, you can find it <a href="http://memystampsandi.blogspot.com/2010/06/note-of-thanks.html">here</a>.<br /><br /><br />I made several using the old catalog's In-Colors (Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Dusty Durango and Rich Razzleberry).<br /><br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRJ498H8kHZOdQjmYoQWTIG771Ujnon68hmnzij4PwxC8Uo8eIbzaUwGDiMD9F0XDLD8WVQ5KPujHSg3J-BF2YF4Ri3FxwGyNl7ldSNSjRQ3Tc6yhzw_PjCQ4ui-7QgbRuREyueBfsrRR-/s1600/mom's+canon+007.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5509225239271724258" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRJ498H8kHZOdQjmYoQWTIG771Ujnon68hmnzij4PwxC8Uo8eIbzaUwGDiMD9F0XDLD8WVQ5KPujHSg3J-BF2YF4Ri3FxwGyNl7ldSNSjRQ3Tc6yhzw_PjCQ4ui-7QgbRuREyueBfsrRR-/s320/mom's+canon+007.JPG" /></a><br />These flowers are a delightful way to perk up a card! Flowers are cardstock in Summer Sun (retired) and Real Red.<br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWU4vXRT6vNmSDZDwl3-D_1362JA1lT4M_s9sH6q_wVRwQoUz-smAlTALVuhmdBsQeIqb9FZKrlpRbgPbTGvQk_b9vZRVc82XssQjQpsr3CxJzXOlp-aJTduCfgwS-hmzJKblH37n-Sn5o/s1600/mom's+canon+006.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5509224780367206994" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWU4vXRT6vNmSDZDwl3-D_1362JA1lT4M_s9sH6q_wVRwQoUz-smAlTALVuhmdBsQeIqb9FZKrlpRbgPbTGvQk_b9vZRVc82XssQjQpsr3CxJzXOlp-aJTduCfgwS-hmzJKblH37n-Sn5o/s320/mom's+canon+006.JPG" /></a><br />Here the flowers are in Barely Banana (retired) and Melon Mambo.<br /><br /><br /><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5509223354308587042" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4H6m3_diLrbI1vLU4QD6c4HksTsl0CekTiktGILrOVpNaSSV7YMENPND1wRh9Ejx3zO9doQ71Zlw07QfNiRnkaENVqsGP9rr702wkIH4yiQytMLusxeTfon7WymZGrWEiERVlJhOJwL4w/s320/mom's+canon+003.JPG" /></div><div> </div><div>To add instant glamour to a mini milk carton, I attached flowers on it! One of my friends asked me to create a birthday party favor for her daughter who turned 10. Her daughter Heather happened to be a gymnast. Unfortunately for me, Stampin' Up does not carry any gymnast stamps. I resorted to Google and found several images I thought appropriate for Heather. I created three samples for my friend to choose from and the Fancy Favor Box was the one she chose. We put M&Ms in them... lookie at how everything came together! <br /><br />The big 56-ounce bag of M&Ms were from Costco.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEIM7RkB9YRmVi4Chg4tmRe630XEV_JELdnJLBgPBxdPMRmshHLy6nJvsD4b50JqSxM29pbBmWwQvSq87_sz0Pw_ex7ekY5xmN4CHJJwcvIY9PrCQIY_c7clKJz9kxYL8hbRBHwy2Y5p5O/s1600/mom's+canon+001.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5509209991422474994" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEIM7RkB9YRmVi4Chg4tmRe630XEV_JELdnJLBgPBxdPMRmshHLy6nJvsD4b50JqSxM29pbBmWwQvSq87_sz0Pw_ex7ekY5xmN4CHJJwcvIY9PrCQIY_c7clKJz9kxYL8hbRBHwy2Y5p5O/s320/mom's+canon+001.JPG" /></a> Heather's favorite colors were blue and teal. I suggested adding yellow and gold to break the monochromes. I used Pacific Point and So Saffron cardstocks. The square lattice embossing folder added a rich texture to the box front. <br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmjD6aqGX2pxTMxrx6YfuWQS-1E19BLI-bce3qrbs7cmnfQzXnJQu5dALAs5_wD7gsTh4Y_Ex7j1cDj2FzBazdevQ2qSPbxzom20lRho6gTjcJ8NYCXcyEfOBKJ5LsgXgu5_Y65b1SHuZ-/s1600/mom's+canon+003.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5509209972907072514" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmjD6aqGX2pxTMxrx6YfuWQS-1E19BLI-bce3qrbs7cmnfQzXnJQu5dALAs5_wD7gsTh4Y_Ex7j1cDj2FzBazdevQ2qSPbxzom20lRho6gTjcJ8NYCXcyEfOBKJ5LsgXgu5_Y65b1SHuZ-/s320/mom's+canon+003.JPG" /></a> </div><div>I also used the Modern Label punch for the labels and the small Star Punch for added glitter. The yellow rhinestone came from Martha Stewart, I think. I used the Scallop Edge punch for the handle and attached it with mini gold brads. I produced 35 Fancy Favor Boxes for Heather's party. My friend later told me that all her guests were so happy to receive their treats and wanted to know where she got them... lol!</div><div><br /> </div><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9Ej_IYUOjzsaW9OSXJo_0UhoEyUlDoguWIQF6sa3sXMTTlJ-Ob1pRqI24JqYyvyuR8MQF7L6Tve-rzlo2t-qOZ1sGG5mvbRTjZtwAKOlqDviV1EolmaNX_qyERvAKUqTwMc5DcgOq9VKs/s1600/mom's+canon+002.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5509209966590950194" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9Ej_IYUOjzsaW9OSXJo_0UhoEyUlDoguWIQF6sa3sXMTTlJ-Ob1pRqI24JqYyvyuR8MQF7L6Tve-rzlo2t-qOZ1sGG5mvbRTjZtwAKOlqDviV1EolmaNX_qyERvAKUqTwMc5DcgOq9VKs/s320/mom's+canon+002.JPG" /></a><br />If you have questions, please feel free to email me.... It's almost the end of August... I surely took a long break from blogging... Call it my "summer vacation" from blogging...lol. Anyway, just because I had not been blogging did not mean I was not stamping. Yes, my friends, even with my kids around, I had been busy stamping. I will try to post a different project each day, and try to get caught up.<br /><br />Here's a preview of products from the new Holiday Mini Catalog. I created some Halloween treats using new Fang-tastic set. The original idea came from Gretchen Barron <a href="http://gretchenbarron.typepad.com/my_weblog/2010/08/test-tube-gift-card-holder-kit-is-now-available.html">here</a>, but you know me, since I did not have any test tubes at my disposal... I used the next best thing! These are the 1"x 8" cello sleeves I used from Valentine's Day. <br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1J_m53n1fP1YoyeX7coFoUOJefqUsJqi6Z93qg8qgpR0lwxW4hsNPHIxowml0z02CYdkrndQRw_lB-Flxov_22XtAMfBCT72-A-XF2wEsp-EifOyTZYGNzlWWzhjXXFOe20fE2kMxQS8n/s1600/mom's+canon+001.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5507994916104004978" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1J_m53n1fP1YoyeX7coFoUOJefqUsJqi6Z93qg8qgpR0lwxW4hsNPHIxowml0z02CYdkrndQRw_lB-Flxov_22XtAMfBCT72-A-XF2wEsp-EifOyTZYGNzlWWzhjXXFOe20fE2kMxQS8n/s320/mom's+canon+001.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjS4384qKOShKbApRZZYRdToHnJdra74Rh96v9tg486GIzSpKkSbvx9MAPwUvxFkZxkTUZtUKA8Fv7bErrPAIn7KvG6QU9VBSi_c1vmJ7-sJn4PquOQ9z2yLTOtH27EkaHpMwufucMRTtaz/s1600/mom's+canon+002.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5507994911722109186" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjS4384qKOShKbApRZZYRdToHnJdra74Rh96v9tg486GIzSpKkSbvx9MAPwUvxFkZxkTUZtUKA8Fv7bErrPAIn7KvG6QU9VBSi_c1vmJ7-sJn4PquOQ9z2yLTOtH27EkaHpMwufucMRTtaz/s320/mom's+canon+002.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwmqkhNCgwXOTQW2qYMpCe2tQZ_Kg0xa4YrYgeNL4QUM-vrZ1F3iPLHyFJEs6UQ4Kb8xVZnb84rtO8vjdBTQv7CCdKODWZ6Jlj-fekhYucoG-Majb-k2CN_F4oa8mJeaKsE2Kofy_VbBNf/s1600/mom's+canon+003.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5507994904188813682" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwmqkhNCgwXOTQW2qYMpCe2tQZ_Kg0xa4YrYgeNL4QUM-vrZ1F3iPLHyFJEs6UQ4Kb8xVZnb84rtO8vjdBTQv7CCdKODWZ6Jlj-fekhYucoG-Majb-k2CN_F4oa8mJeaKsE2Kofy_VbBNf/s320/mom's+canon+003.JPG" /></a><br />Thanks for dropping by!<br /><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><br /><br /><div><img src="http://shaintl.eaph3.com/share/Logo/SpringSignRaidis10.jpg" /></div><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div></div></div>Hearts That Lovehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09811722348871261009noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2824246125953242500.post-87599519390453239772010-05-09T11:11:00.000-07:002010-05-09T11:19:12.418-07:00Mother's Day CardHi there! Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there.... Here is my tribute for all the 24/7 work we do for our loved ones. Inspired by Gretchen Barron's card found <a href="http://gretchenbarron.typepad.com/my_weblog/2010/04/sending-love-its-not-just-for-valentines.html">here</a>, I changed some of the elements she used to so I can use whatever supplies I have. I stuck with the Sending Love DSP though, again for the soft touch. LOL. This card would be great for birthdays too - I will simply change the sentiment to fit the occasion.....<br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLjJ5JmOQha13b3MmuNasq85s6VQ7Q1vs9NSWXh6mDgnKxueTwDQSIpoYf4MQTa2kxO9C0b5nSIUa-bhKK3E3e3M7ZMcUIBeAUdf9BNUARnBlPsDk-JsiRihddGesKWCDmz6JeResZQOUs/s1600/mom's+canon+001.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5469334791884171746" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLjJ5JmOQha13b3MmuNasq85s6VQ7Q1vs9NSWXh6mDgnKxueTwDQSIpoYf4MQTa2kxO9C0b5nSIUa-bhKK3E3e3M7ZMcUIBeAUdf9BNUARnBlPsDk-JsiRihddGesKWCDmz6JeResZQOUs/s320/mom's+canon+001.JPG" /></a> Thanks for looking!<br /><br /><span style="font-size:85%;">Stamp: Greenhouse Garden, Well Scripted</span><br /><span style="font-size:85%;">Ink: Chocolate Chip</span><br /><span style="font-size:85%;">Paper: Cardstock in Chocolate chip, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White; Sending Love DSP</span><br /><span style="font-size:85%;">Accessories: BIg SHot, Impressions Die, Fancy Flower punch, lace edge punch, pink satin ribbon, 3/4" circle punch</span><br /><br /><br /><div><img src="http://shaintl.eaph3.com/share/Logo/SpringSignRaidis10.jpg" /></div>Hearts That Lovehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09811722348871261009noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2824246125953242500.post-229375426555536132010-05-08T16:27:00.000-07:002010-05-08T16:45:14.514-07:00Mother's Day Card and Giftcard Holder<div>Hi there! It's been a month since I posted anything BUT that does not mean I have not been creating anything.... LOL. My life took a busy turn ... I do admit that as a mom, I cannot do everything at any given moment. That said, I have created a Mother's Day card that doubles up as a gift cardholder. The base cardstock is Chocolate Chip and is layered with the Sending Love DSP. I so love that paper with its soft pink hues and glitter components (no worries, I stocked up before it got retired....)</div><div></div><br /><div>The paper flower is courtesy of my friend Kay, and is attached to a belly band. I believe she has a tutorial on this <a href="http://creationsonpaper.blogspot.com/2010/03/flower-tutorial.html">here</a>. </div><br /><div></div><br /><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5469045462316251042" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4RkDJP_2TlH2S4wOlm9-PlAxYdmUcbW_GGCd6s4bBOpyTSJqPQI3sDYBYQgIJBG8xxI0UYb7CSna39Ohf_COxlZXCtRM9Tx6fxJQTVOPmNuS7HmBEgZBU5mVslBixnOMw_zuBkKTj-g0w/s320/mom's+canon+015.JPG" /> The inside of the card looks like this, the opening for the gift card was done using the Word Window punch. I glued the loose tab to the left side of the card so that it created a small pocket. </div><br /><div><br /><br /><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5469045456812068866" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7u0pOBBGcbeyV94VtCMnUoV_g0CyieXPCeag9YwdqUH0-40c0sdhxn2u7ojWhzOCiepVK3zr9daxQJyerhf2gq8bzRQJE1VKqKM62W_kYCxIU6UKeLJocAJZeXGTwfIMK92Pm_cEH1_Jy/s320/mom's+canon+016.JPG" /><br /><div> </div><div></div><br /><div>Thanks for stopping by! Been browsing thru different blogsites and I found <a href="http://sweetasagumdrop.blogspot.com/2010/04/new-projects-for-april.html">this</a>. It was a teddy bear punch card - no instructions at all - but I figured that I can use the following to recreate it:<br /><br />Face - one piece of 1 3/4" circle punch<br />Ears - two pieces each of 1" and 3/4" circle punches<br />Eyes - two pieces of 1/2" circle punches plus two pieces of two halves of 1/2" circle punches (hahaha, is that as clear as mud?)<br />Muzzle - two pieces of 3/4" circle punch<br />Nose - small heart from Heart to Heart punch.<br /><br />I also changed some elements from the original card. I used Chocolate Chip cardstock as my base and layered it with Pretty in Pink. The Whisper White cardstock layer was cranked thru my Big Shot (using the Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder) for some extra texture. I tied a pretty pink satin ribbon as Teddy's bow and stamped "Small Wonder" and punched out using the Wide Oval punch. Now I have a card ready for a baby shower or new baby events! Change the pinks into blues and I got myself a card for baby boys too! Give me some time and I will make treat bags too! :-)<br /><br />Thanks for stopping by...I hope you like it!<br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-tERkaxKCMQX44885pk-0kgbKd8k9wTRdud6RzTPd6EJ0y3xhr16l7Aag_zRUaTO2obU7EcC6F250P6H-iOHQREsyc7qygAnOwrmQC4PbOWRm09b5t0ppkE65FTQdTbSVyS-ECs9sFRcQ/s1600/mom's+canon+002.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5458172047672510210" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-tERkaxKCMQX44885pk-0kgbKd8k9wTRdud6RzTPd6EJ0y3xhr16l7Aag_zRUaTO2obU7EcC6F250P6H-iOHQREsyc7qygAnOwrmQC4PbOWRm09b5t0ppkE65FTQdTbSVyS-ECs9sFRcQ/s320/mom's+canon+002.JPG" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEFDrwcHYF8ZV6CsszWHCBNV-aB0BpEnOQKR5BaKPw0A87qf21AItUItt1H51xpGGcPFw8PNJPY37R7_Qqi416igFdbWK24lMhIEtZnXPYUAwWJ21Mky5Y6YMseYmCrXi_InEXzVu8x2f3/s1600/mom's+canon+002.JPG"></a><div><br /><span style="font-size:85%;">Stamp: Whimsical Words</span></div><div><span style="font-size:85%;">Ink: Chocolate Chip</span></div><div><span style="font-size:85%;">Paper: cardstock in Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White, Blush Blossom, Basic Black.</span></div><div><span style="font-size:85%;">Accessories: 1 3/4", 1", 3/4", 1/2" circle punches; wide oval punch; heart-to-heart punch; white gel pen; black pen; Big Shot with Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder; pink satin ribbon<br /></span></div><div><span style="font-size:85%;"> </div></span><div></div><div><img src="http://shaintl.eaph3.com/share/Logo/SpringSignRaidis10.jpg" /></div><div><br /> </div>Hearts That Lovehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09811722348871261009noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2824246125953242500.post-47608716236894095702010-03-23T22:02:00.000-07:002010-03-29T20:53:45.869-07:00Roses Galore<div><div><div>Hi there! I still had the scallop flowers in mind as I created these milk cartons. Are they not yummy enough to eat? Spring is definitely in the air, and what better way to appreciate the season with vibrant colors. Using SU's mini milk carton die, I have these in (retired) Kiwi Kiss, Chocolate Chip, Tempting Turquiose and Summer Sun. I also have used the scallop circle punch, two circles for each flower - plus the Boho Blossom punch for the center, and a mini brad to put them together. The leaves are from the Two Step Bird Punch. The sentiment "For You" is from SU's Vintage Label set and was punched out using the small oval punch.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpNuJYIjsaH-3N-BRTFAfQharq_WRktrBOG0RYBd06wvBOSTM0TsBDTp-i-0i87ms8fMycAzVYyLr5QrzLmUbrejNFdiiNuoR0aJnHypA7hQBrsAz_x0kVQnoH0bNmblgJx0hDJ2KIK5Wk/s1600-h/treats+001.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5451183198467332386" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpNuJYIjsaH-3N-BRTFAfQharq_WRktrBOG0RYBd06wvBOSTM0TsBDTp-i-0i87ms8fMycAzVYyLr5QrzLmUbrejNFdiiNuoR0aJnHypA7hQBrsAz_x0kVQnoH0bNmblgJx0hDJ2KIK5Wk/s320/treats+001.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_X6ZUDVH-vMRE4dDPbGcxFZIHA1-GTDmY-uDcPXYt3I-SNMw3jQeTx_tdG-w8BvE1coIo513dnrnAb5qgFGbY7418xGDh_Ehn95kStWxnHjvGPCz9-asWGnb263z1iqv9RayId_ilNJpN/s1600-h/treats+002.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5451183182914658578" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_X6ZUDVH-vMRE4dDPbGcxFZIHA1-GTDmY-uDcPXYt3I-SNMw3jQeTx_tdG-w8BvE1coIo513dnrnAb5qgFGbY7418xGDh_Ehn95kStWxnHjvGPCz9-asWGnb263z1iqv9RayId_ilNJpN/s320/treats+002.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHaiaDOVKscu_hLPLHeazp7WzJRC0VMjGrmjwDxigtp0T-pHbWDQshMA9RbOdsZLKcmjaJLw-NBhZIUf4IvsU95WyC1XyOWz4hyGovcvT2SNh03wQD4PzTMw7L08hVc173CoMLe51-lJb3/s1600-h/treats+003.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5451183177806978514" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHaiaDOVKscu_hLPLHeazp7WzJRC0VMjGrmjwDxigtp0T-pHbWDQshMA9RbOdsZLKcmjaJLw-NBhZIUf4IvsU95WyC1XyOWz4hyGovcvT2SNh03wQD4PzTMw7L08hVc173CoMLe51-lJb3/s320/treats+003.JPG" border="0" /></a><br />Come to think of it - these treats are good enough not only for Spring, but for those little moments when you just want to say "I'm thinking of you" or "Here's something to cheer you up, friend!" I was shopping inside a local craft store, looking for ribbons when these darling favor tins caught my eye. My brain went on overdrive.... lol! Imagine what you can do with these tins and how I wished Stampin' Up sold these things too.<br /><br /><br />I embellished them with Scallop Flowers in spring-y colors and adhered labels on each one. See below for instructions. I created a card that was inspired from Julia Bettencourt's post <a href="http://www.juliabettencourt.com/blog/?p=5695">here</a>. I had always loved tulips, and in different colors too! The tulips are punched out using the Two-step Bird Punch - you need the "wing" part. Three "wings" make one tulip. You can choose whichever color you like. I was so inspired from Becky Roberts' post <a href="http://inkingidaho.blogspot.com/2010/02/chocolate-bunny.html">here,</a> that I decided to CASE it. However, I do not have the Bunny stamp and some of the other things Becky put on her card. So what's a girl got to do? Well, I looked in my stamping drawers and used whatever stuff I have... lol. Here is my finished card. <br /><br /><br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5442634634956010546" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8maH7MuLf72FXYY95ZFnT-T-IBuW8QMAin0FzAs_1jsxStErahEGdRaORTTYh7jnvPyjspNyD69z42ICVCZyQQlFfJpKyTmi1PFvqYHGtrdOOcYLWaNbnDpQE5_qSzuztx3GBJguteIog/s320/mom's+canon+032.JPG" /><br /><br /><p>The paper "grass" is simply two pieces of Old Olive cardstock that got snipped across. Then you kinda ruffle the "grass" so it looks like you found eggs in between the grass. This actually reminded me of past Easter egg hunts I took my children to. You know how young ones can get excited over those. The first time my now-4 year old son went egg-hunting (he was almost 3 then), there were probably only 4 or 5 kids in his age category... So guess what? he came back with a bucket full of chocolate-filled eggs! Ahhh, memories.</p><p>Thanks for looking!</p><p><span style="font-size:85%;">Stamp: A Good Egg</span></p><p><span style="font-size:85%;">Ink: Chocolate Chip</span></p><p><span style="font-size:85%;">Paper: SU cardstock in Pretty in Pink, Whisper White, Old Olive; Shades of Spring DSP</span></p><p><span style="font-size:85%;">Accessories: SU Big Shot, Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, wide oval punch, Old Olive grosgrain ribbon, scallop oval and large oval punches</span>.</p><p><img src="http://shaintl.eaph3.com/share/Logo/SpringSignRaidis10.jpg" /></p>Hearts That Lovehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09811722348871261009noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2824246125953242500.post-73574581508561544582010-02-24T11:10:00.001-08:002010-02-24T19:37:41.276-08:00Mother's Day Card and Treats BagHi there! I bought a set of tissue wrap from Target because it was on sale. I guessed Target was getting rid of reds and pinks from Valentine's Day but I saw an opportunity there. A set of pink tissue flowers would look lovely for Mother's Day! Woohoo! I punched out some pink tissues and white tissues separately, then I mixed them up (three pinks plus three whites plus three pinks plus three whites plus three pinks - well you get the idea...). I smooshed them up and put a gold brad in the center of the flower. Very easy to make.<br /><br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixECKJW4kLVgDZBjI63Sd320XrTizOGuT3Iyklo_OHpZoeuEier2zjVn9ukpdGlDV_MRqZWE_qavbG4iY49h75EeZb8cGmtHjlu_5E8_D4FplP846uXxQhCeKuQIYYhp3e6rFs88_mnPUE/s1600-h/mom's+canon+874.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5441890162758147858" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixECKJW4kLVgDZBjI63Sd320XrTizOGuT3Iyklo_OHpZoeuEier2zjVn9ukpdGlDV_MRqZWE_qavbG4iY49h75EeZb8cGmtHjlu_5E8_D4FplP846uXxQhCeKuQIYYhp3e6rFs88_mnPUE/s320/mom's+canon+874.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br />And lookie here, I created a matching treat bag especially for Mother's Day:<br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0RlBJmK260Sfr90wm6P5jL0BeUNIl8Vu84PYJiFJvPB62Mv5roxqIbCkh_M6d8IS_JXnGJKgGoWRJlyBvRGu9UKI3TEGdYsqsKMVShFzWyyrCSCN9MRPb4o0clNs07DaXgMvK9tnV4Hox/s1600-h/mom's+canon+875.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5441890160085880034" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0RlBJmK260Sfr90wm6P5jL0BeUNIl8Vu84PYJiFJvPB62Mv5roxqIbCkh_M6d8IS_JXnGJKgGoWRJlyBvRGu9UKI3TEGdYsqsKMVShFzWyyrCSCN9MRPb4o0clNs07DaXgMvK9tnV4Hox/s320/mom's+canon+875.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><div>Another look at the set:<br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRb505Kampnvt_f8dG9gfyhX6M3IaG6DwaWA2NRLSd0Tx0yD-kZ-8_QYc4GR_x9FNh6bpa26SVsnWU2xwp-altyEbj6sjMyMVoaqRtaf5sVQz6_ioRZRa6pcwEsFG2XpDYfxsVdg7l6ENR/s1600-h/mom's+canon+877.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5441889842364315106" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRb505Kampnvt_f8dG9gfyhX6M3IaG6DwaWA2NRLSd0Tx0yD-kZ-8_QYc4GR_x9FNh6bpa26SVsnWU2xwp-altyEbj6sjMyMVoaqRtaf5sVQz6_ioRZRa6pcwEsFG2XpDYfxsVdg7l6ENR/s320/mom's+canon+877.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div></div><div></div><div></div>Adorable huh? What's Easter without a visit from the Easter bunny? lol. I re-created my punch bunny to fit on the side of a Fancy Favor Box. Yep, since there was not enough space (unlike on a Top Notes die), I used my scallop oval and large oval punch for the ears, the 1 3/4" circle punch for the face, another 1 3/4" circle for the body (covered by the "feet"), and the wide oval and small oval punches for the bunny paws. <br /><br />The cheeks are from the 3/4" circle punch, the eyes are from the 1/2" circle punch. And also because this bunny is smaller, I used the smallest heart from the Heart to Heart Punch. Lastly, the handle is from a 1" strip of cardstock and then punched out with the Scallop Trim Edge punch. <br /><br /><br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5440955494548498210" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcgL9y3L18Fc9VqyUU6-HRyPqOCC22AvJ0M4u-6H0KRnwmE8mhUBW7aROZU75ZyKWMUaCzkefCmxGezhfZDyk29wAH4f5nmun3gZM4gyaqK1H92dAKxVk_W9mGy9Ny4cpiknzlgwXSvy05/s320/mom's+canon+006.JPG" /><br /><br />And oh yeah, the toes on the bunny paws use the 1/8" punch. Here is a close-up of Old Olive Fancy Favor Box:<br /><br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5440955501992544882" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFbItzVyhCzDHv-e3uHKtgipMwiB9f1DTZTaV9nV6CzOXF2ZFkx_0Ds_0Lu1CfEMShU61YwdzuAGcEdkGzQcBbEPfaivKgStwmoEouSbqRHwcsuLxdUmEnR8O2MBWAGcS37FMJXEgAqxqO/s320/mom's+canon+005.JPG" /><br />Thanks for dropping by!<br /><br /><span style="font-size:85%;">Stamp: (none)</span><br /><span style="font-size:85%;">Ink: (none)</span><br /><span style="font-size:85%;">Paper: Old Olive, Close to Cocoa, Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, Pink Pirouette, Basic Black cardstock</span><br /><span style="font-size:85%;">Accessories: scallop trim edge punch; scallop oval, wide oval, large and small oval punches; 1 3/4", 3/4", 1/2" and 1/8" circle punches; heart to heart punch; white gel pen; brads; Big Shot and Fancy Favor Box die.<br /></span><br /><br /><br /><img src="http://shaintl.eaph3.com/share/Logo/SpringSignRaidis10.jpg" />Hearts That Lovehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09811722348871261009noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2824246125953242500.post-84967205585946628902010-02-20T08:13:00.000-08:002010-02-20T08:28:50.132-08:00Wonderful MotherHi there! I was thinking of my mom yesterday... She went to Manila for a brief vacation and I mailed her this card so that when she gets back, this card will be waiting for her! With my Extra Large Fancy Flower punch, I punched 20 layers of fuschia-colored and yellow-colored tissue paper, cut up slits on each petal, ruffled and scrunched up the flowers and placed a brad in the middle. The leaves are from SU's Two Step Bird Punch. And the So Saffron ribbon is from last year's Sale-a-bration. You think my mom will like this card? <br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCjkal8UZvXx6CozUJ40aFvMrQp9JBgZO3E_qjeiABFoSJPDuFSkR_SS7P5adrEFVMgC7WPQxk5cRV13vTPf_BcTgc1NlcEYJqGrOfyy5mu4Bd05AlMslJZ4KPEi9tvWzeZ2hyphenhyphenKlAuCcns/s1600-h/mom's+canon+006.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5440359924205154050" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCjkal8UZvXx6CozUJ40aFvMrQp9JBgZO3E_qjeiABFoSJPDuFSkR_SS7P5adrEFVMgC7WPQxk5cRV13vTPf_BcTgc1NlcEYJqGrOfyy5mu4Bd05AlMslJZ4KPEi9tvWzeZ2hyphenhyphenKlAuCcns/s320/mom's+canon+006.JPG" /></a><br />Thanks for looking!<br /><br /><span style="font-size:85%;">Stamps: Well-scripted</span><br /><span style="font-size:85%;">Ink: Chocolate Chip</span><br /><span style="font-size:85%;">Paper: cardstock in Old Olive and Whisper White; Shades of Spring DSP</span><br /><span style="font-size:85%;">Accessories: SU Big Shot, Top Notes Die, Extra Large Fance Flower punch, Two Step Bird punch, tissue paper, foam tape, brads, and So Saffron ribbon.</span><br /><br /><div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><br /><div><img src="http://shaintl.eaph3.com/share/Logo/SpringSignRaidis10.jpg" /></div><br /><br /><div></div><br /><br /><div></div><br /><br /><div></div></div>Hearts That Lovehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09811722348871261009noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2824246125953242500.post-2427195312346927632010-02-16T09:48:00.001-08:002010-02-16T09:59:59.725-08:00Easter Bunny Treat BagHi there! I know it's a bit early to be thinking of Easter but I cannot help making this little Easter bunny treat bag. Isn't it cute? The little pouch is from Michaels and layered with two Top Notes die. This treat bag is quite easy to make, especially with SU's oval punches. I adhered pink polka dot ribbon as handles, so I have a little carry-on treat bag. Bag measurements are 3.75" wide and 4.5" high, gusset is 3.5". Now I just have to wait for the big T store to come out with chocolate eggs and/or egg-shaped candies!<br /><br />As an afterthought, I suppose I can also use cardstocks in Close to Cocoa (for a light brown bunny) or Soft Suede (for a deeper brown bunny). Lol.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiG0vRHBQ0x5F45pKj-c9pGjoKFa3lR1DlqCWg-JpvSI5CTuzASzdg91q2IHrlTFS-tOPfOMeUV80I0I4oGNNrXZChr5_vLVk9Evo2hdDT1Cmh-OyORyAJRXQo-Q2F3mDTIsO9UtYRQ7ESR/s1600-h/mom's+canon+001.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5438899966486915346" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiG0vRHBQ0x5F45pKj-c9pGjoKFa3lR1DlqCWg-JpvSI5CTuzASzdg91q2IHrlTFS-tOPfOMeUV80I0I4oGNNrXZChr5_vLVk9Evo2hdDT1Cmh-OyORyAJRXQo-Q2F3mDTIsO9UtYRQ7ESR/s320/mom's+canon+001.JPG" /></a>Thanks for looking!<br /><br /><span style="font-size:85%;">Stamp: (none)</span><br /><span style="font-size:85%;">Ink: Basic Black marker</span><br /><span style="font-size:85%;">Paper: whisper white, pink pirouette, basic black</span><br /><span style="font-size:85%;">Accessories: SU Big Shot, Top Notes Die; punches - wide oval, large oval, small oval, 1" circle, 3/4" circle, 1/16" circle, small heart; white gel pen; sheer pink ribbon and pink satin polka dot ribbon from Michaels.<br /></span><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><img src="http://shaintl.eaph3.com/share/Logo/SpringSignRaidis10.jpg" />Hearts That Lovehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09811722348871261009noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2824246125953242500.post-51095667202561897142010-02-12T19:06:00.000-08:002010-02-12T19:24:00.643-08:00Valentine Milk CartonsHi there! I made 24 of these Valentine-themed milk cartons for my 8 year old daughter's classmates. She brought them to school this morning and of course, I forgot to take a picture! Ugh! As I will be going out tonight and having dinner with my girlfriends, I made 6 more milk cartons. This time around, I remembered to take pictures! lol. My 4 year old son helped me count the Hershey kisses chocolates that will go inside. I'm pretty sure that when the gals see these, their eyes will pop out - just as my daughter's classmates could not thank my daughter enough for their cute treats.... <br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjp5bZC0Nf-8neivtIYfOKdlw1nINUIqwN8DyXeWWl1rMv5tLxamkqDcwXM4IRcjePw2zoywqZLO9Sn8Rzb5GwBjPb5sYguK1I45bbSW88vP-Eyn37VWemzIoDXfOXsvWzU1ElxGrrY4JUc/s1600-h/treats+002.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5437561783179860978" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjp5bZC0Nf-8neivtIYfOKdlw1nINUIqwN8DyXeWWl1rMv5tLxamkqDcwXM4IRcjePw2zoywqZLO9Sn8Rzb5GwBjPb5sYguK1I45bbSW88vP-Eyn37VWemzIoDXfOXsvWzU1ElxGrrY4JUc/s320/treats+002.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgx4ShLDoglah8wzUSaOr-8BbjmTDrHCHonEefhW65ahI3wvLpi1imaa1ud0-mo7n58QQ1aE32YErx2yYG414rLGJnG4euo_kwuVJwWsH0GMdoqbSXZ9wuA9AhwDy_yi1BPSFXFX41jRVNp/s1600-h/treats+003.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5437559694235234722" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgx4ShLDoglah8wzUSaOr-8BbjmTDrHCHonEefhW65ahI3wvLpi1imaa1ud0-mo7n58QQ1aE32YErx2yYG414rLGJnG4euo_kwuVJwWsH0GMdoqbSXZ9wuA9AhwDy_yi1BPSFXFX41jRVNp/s320/treats+003.JPG" border="0" /></a><br />Thanks for stopping by!</div><div> </div><div><span style="font-size:85%;">Stamp: Love Always</span></div><div><span style="font-size:85%;">Ink: Chocolate Chip</span></div><div><span style="font-size:85%;">Paper: cardstock in chocolate chip, real red, whisper white</span></div><div><span style="font-size:85%;">Accessories: SU Big Shot, Mini Milk Carton Die, red grosgrain ribbon, non-SU mini binder clip.<br /></span></div><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi7abiPRtD2LU5lL_Ia5ANMrWSHt62ZTL10OuQzXh7_wq9-Os17moj5oGdnZPr-2gCk6OD-ga5I5wWfeNQeIJWGWpDURlp8iQldF62YeJ_IGjNXsoqzBqrcuCqfwOD5UY71weKRQ-yTOFxZ/s1600-h/treats+003.JPG"></a><div></div><div></div><div></div><br /><div><img src="http://shaintl.eaph3.com/share/Logo/SpringSignRaidis10.jpg" /></div><div></div></div>Hearts That Lovehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09811722348871261009noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2824246125953242500.post-82923006787934982612010-02-10T10:06:00.000-08:002010-02-10T10:15:44.819-08:00Easter Milk Carton TreatsHi there! I was on a roll last night making milk carton treats for my 8 year old daughter's Valentine treats. And lookie here, I made some for Easter too. Lol. I was trying to get a head start, y'know. Anyway, the colors I used are Bashful Blue, Pretty in Pink, Almost Amethyst, and Barely Banana. I took out my "A Good Egg" set from last year, stamped the chick on Whisper White and cut it out. I sponged the upper half of the chick with So Saffron ink and for the bottom half, I stamped another image of the chick onto a DSP I liked and then cut <em>that</em> portion out. So I had *like* a little "dressy" bottom for the chick. My cute little niece turned two and last Sunday, we had a birthday party for her (yep, just in time for SuperBowl Sunday). Using my SU Fancy Favor Die, I made 20 of these and put her picture with those scallop tags. Since purple was my niece's favorite color, I mixed up Elegant Eggplant with Almost Amethyst. I also used Pretty in Pink, Old Olive and So Saffron - colors that went very well with the Tea Party DSPs.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEig0vhf9LrH0Us5licarsRWUPg8Ye2mDSIYamzJ0xMTZYkXgzfOfkm5sUsz25bobjY9cot7LRTGlZSOEHLpV_PYQYce2shW0DatkfdKYgM312il9gf8z6hJBVet7xxtJN5eBZfYTPl7_mWe/s1600-h/001.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5436428242307232498" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEig0vhf9LrH0Us5licarsRWUPg8Ye2mDSIYamzJ0xMTZYkXgzfOfkm5sUsz25bobjY9cot7LRTGlZSOEHLpV_PYQYce2shW0DatkfdKYgM312il9gf8z6hJBVet7xxtJN5eBZfYTPl7_mWe/s200/001.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinvoCAWzZiqOKXJS0Rg4i68AZ1pKNvHgKZbjo8bkF6YE6xhrNNd5o4BJTeBQ26YKTCiQa3cYpZFUbd8yU1hLVgSZdaRu-MWLFTS8uEkYh6f_3S9i6LQb3bMMMgwTJnKmwO4KbOEDjB_5GZ/s1600-h/003.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5436428226206352162" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinvoCAWzZiqOKXJS0Rg4i68AZ1pKNvHgKZbjo8bkF6YE6xhrNNd5o4BJTeBQ26YKTCiQa3cYpZFUbd8yU1hLVgSZdaRu-MWLFTS8uEkYh6f_3S9i6LQb3bMMMgwTJnKmwO4KbOEDjB_5GZ/s200/003.JPG" border="0" /></a> Inside the favor boxes were cello bags of CHEETOS! When I saw this <a href="http://stampndesign.blogspot.com/2010/02/caterpillar-slider-card.html">card</a>, I knew I had to CASE it! lol. Who can resist such a cute looking caterpillar? I changed several things though. I did not use a slider card. Instead I used a base cardstock of 4" x 12" and scored it at 4" and 8" so that when folded, it is a 4"x4" card. I did not have a 12" x 12" Whisper White cardstock so I settled with the retired Sahara Sand color. I stamped the "grass" image from the Asian Artistry set (current Level 2 Hostess Set) randomly across the front of my would-be card. Lastly, I used my 3/4" circle punch to create my "signature" eyes (remember my Frankie card? - look <a href="http://seekandkeep.blogspot.com/2008/09/frankenstein-cards.html">here</a>).<br /><br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 150px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5434463699711467554" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZ-oVvWu52iH1t9sIHtYnOC-AGyCzYAdebaHmxEIHmwF_kCFTYr9u5bBelmCZ7vj5mxeBq5Qvj821TEGD2T1DE3JuS-fdgc3l7sMkAGyTHQ6vAUTKQreBzUarkWfvdvGUlaV1e_cG958Id/s200/mom's+canon+035.JPG" /><br /><br /><br /><br />For the letters, I ran a piece of Real Red cardstock through my Big Shot and for the first time (it's been collecting dust...) I used my SU Naturally Serif Alphabet die to create the letters. You betcha I had so much fun making this card!<br /><br /><br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 150px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5434463692652259810" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjemGrpf1TZUEmqI8Ezk3CGitM230QdDgjtNirBwkKpiFX6Pna4E8mrkXipXxWea-2ZSMeQfio57LaksOWulS4-NeLP3feWOgCHh3kCLp8OxkWZpKQJ2NcJ8eQErwdk6vBJxfuQsIyKKi9f/s200/mom's+canon+034.JPG" /><br /><br /><br />Thanks for peeking!<br /><br /><br /><br /><img src="http://shaintl.eaph3.com/share/Logo/SpringSignRaidis10.jpg" /><br /><br /><br /><span style="font-size:85%;">Stamp: Asian Artistry</span><br /><span style="font-size:85%;">Ink: Kiwi Kiss ink, Basic Black marker</span><br /><span style="font-size:85%;">Paper: Cardstock in Sahara Sand, Summer Sun, Real Red, Kiwi Kiss, Melon Mambo, Rust, Tempting Turquoise, So Saffron, Whisper White and Basic Black; glitter cardstock from Marcella K.</span><br /><span style="font-size:85%;">Accessories: SU Big Shot; Naturally Serif Alphabet Die; 1 3/8", 1", 3/4" circle punches; small heart punch; crystal effects used as adhesive.</span><br /><br /><br /><br /><span style="font-size:85%;"></span>Hearts That Lovehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09811722348871261009noreply@blogger.com1
