Easter Daisies

Hi, I had fun playing with my Fiskar daisy punch two weeks ago, that I thought I'd use it again. This time I kept to the Raspberry Tart DSP colors - mainly kiwi kiss and rose red. With SU papers, I loved how I don't have to "think" much about color combinations. It's almost a no-brainer about mixing and matching colors! Woohoo, thanks SU! As always, thank you for stopping by!

Stamp: Easter Blessings (retired)
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Paper: Kiwi kiss, rose red, whisper white; Raspberry Tart DSP

Mojo Monday 78

I was so stressed out on Friday night, due to our contractor headaches, that I decided to make a card! This time, I used the sketch for Mojo Monday 78. This is my first to participate... For those who know me, I really, really like pink and brown combinations on my cards. Do you see the head pin and beads I stuck through the ribbon knot? My first time to use one! I also put dazzling diamonds on the flower to make it sparkle. :-) I hope you like my card... Thanks for looking.

Pocket Silhouettes

Hi, I made this card two weeks ago, knowing that I'd be busy when this week comes around! I got a lot on my plate the next few days (if not months) coz we're finally moving back to our house. Yesterday and today, I was on the phone scheduling activation of services needed at the house while making sure I had services terminated at the apartment. Overwhelming huh? Today I called on my cleaning guys to make sure that I am on THEIR schedule; that the cable guys will reconnect our Internet (very important!); that I had enough gallons of paint and moving boxes. But that's not all. Last night, I chaperoned my daughter and her friends - they sold Girl Scout cookies in front of Trader Joe's. Today I volunteered at my younger daughter's computer lab class. Tomorrow I have a Finance meeting going on at lunch, and a christian sex education class with my daughter in the evening. Did I mention I still have to pack? Ugh. Yes, ugh is pretty much all I can say. I made a list to make sure I stay on course. So if you don't see anything new for a while, just know that I am somewhere in my house and trying to make sense out of chaos! LOL.

Daisies Galore

My second entry for the day... just thinking of daisies and flowers and spring and birds chirping. I used a daisy punch and layered the flowers... in different colors too! I added clear Swarovski rhinestones for that bling!. I love how it came out. Now if I can have a garden with all these flowers in bloom, I'd be happy..... Thanks for looking!

Eastern Influences

I was following Lauren Meader's blog and I thought I'd participate in her Saturday Sketch. I used my SU Eastern Influences set and the rest came easy. I love spring and cherry blossoms. What perfect way to welcome spring! Thanks for looking!

Fifth Avenue Floral Easter Card

Ahh, the glory of Easter! It's only the first week of March, daylight saving time begins this weekend, and I must admit, Easter is on my mind.... I'm thinking of dressing the kids in pastel colors and taking their pics.... And with that thought, I looked in my bucket of cardstocks and opted for Blush Blossom as the base for my card. I CASE'd the design from here; used my Fifth Avenue Floral, and of course, added some bling and dazzling diamonds!
